I assist students with any and every aspect of the writing process, including brainstorming ideas, constructing arguments, organizing, strategizing, reviewing, proofreading, and providing substantive feedback. I’ve worked with middle school and high school students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students. I’m patient, organized, and I firmly believe that there’s no such thing as a dumb question. Asking for help is often the most challenging part of the writing process, especially when it comes to crafting college application essays — I promise it gets easier from here!  

Overall, I’ve spent about a decade working with students to enhance their writing skills. As an instructor, I’ve graded hundreds of essays, so I know exactly what professors are looking for. During my time as a graduate student, I wrote countless long-form essays and provided proofreading services for various documents. I also wrote grant proposals for a non-profit organization and managed its grant writing operations. On Capitol Hill, I authored policy memos for a member of the House of Representatives and a US Senator.
